.bd root DNS server DOWN
What a country, what a rules and what's a responsibility of government's office's!! The name or organization is BTTB. They are maintainer of .BD Domain Name. This server is down for last about 14Hours!
Root Server of .bd Domain is:
DNS.bd. 209.58.24.3
SLAVE.BTTB.NET. 203.112.194.243
Both this server is down science Today November 13, 00:53 BDT (Bangladesh Standard Time) Government Owning only one gateway to Internet via Submarine Cable become Down. Which was main gateway to Internet from Bangladesh.
Before that all time I advised BTTB written and verbally to solve the .bd ROOT DNS location allocation. They Ignored all advice. All time when I got opportunity's, to speech, I describe how yeasy .bd DNS can be become unusable or unreachable. Even All time I advised by subscriber, clients not to use .bd domain as their primary domain until BTTB fix the problem. What happen today? Still your web or mail server may hosted on a full proof network in USA, Canada, UK or any other country, is it accessible from outside?
GMAIL used to use authentication from www.google.com.bd. What happened? can you access GMAIL from Bangladesh location ?

UPDATES: BTTB Internet Become UP on 13th November, 2007, 15:56 BDT, Now .bd Root DNS is reachable.

I have noticed .bd root servers going down more than once.

And it didnt happen only once.
Due to unrealiability we have to drop using .bd domains for our help desk and other networking related cases.
I really hope BTTB will make some improvements to .bd domains.
Yes, I agree. From the first day of .bd domain activation, we are offering help to BTTB, But as you know they will never allow people to contribute on their project, even not bother to reply someones offer.....
Your URL on .bd registry goes down is a good reference..
